About the Course

The aim of the B.Sc. nursing programme is to prepare graduates to assume responsibilities as competent nurses and midwives in providing promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative services. The B.Sc.-Nursing course curriculum covers a wide range of subjects related to Nursing including Pharmacology, Physiology, Psychology, Nutrition, Anatomy & Microbiology. It prepares nurses who can make independent decisions in nursing situations and conduct research studies in the areas of nursing practice and assume the role of teacher, supervisor, and manager in a clinical / community health setting/institution of nursing education.

  • 📋 Passed 10+2 (Intermediate) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) from a recognized board
  • 📊 Minimum 45% aggregate marks in PCB subjects (Reserved category relaxation applicable)
  • 🎂 Minimum 17 years of age at the time of admission
  • 📝 Appearance in UPGET (UP Government Entrance Test) or ABVMU counselling as notified
  • 🩺 Medical fitness certificate from an authorized medical officer required at admission
